So my overall feeling is going on a diet doesn’t really work for me or for many, because when it’s over you go back to how you were eating before. So I try to stay within a certain range for eating food. However, with the stress of the divorce I gained weight, which means I do have to watch what I eat much more and lose those pounds.

That’s why I’ve re-started my food journal. It’s dirt simple, you just write down everything you eat. It makes you think twice about eating that extra something and because you can look back over it you can see what you need to change up. Me — I clearly need to start eating those grapes, carrots, and hummus that I bought to add more variety to the whole grains.

What works for you to help you healthier for your diet? Body positivity here no matter what your level — no one’s perfect especially me. But it is holiday season and many of my neighbors celebrated Diwali already not to mention Halloween candy. So the potential for diet derailment is here.
