Working to Black Belt Life
First thing, decide what you really want to do to change your life. Then, find a coach for yourself if you really need to up your game faster and better. One big change for me…I’ve gone back to train at martial arts after a 12 year hiatus. Yes, I could try to do a lot on my own, but having someone see what’s going on from a different perspective and point out both what you’re doing well and what you can improve upon helps you get where you’re going no matter what the subject.
And the #1 thing you can start having right now is having a Black Belt Attitude. The desire to try your best, and treat others well while you do it.
Although hat can-do attitude promptly got me in trouble. I threw out my back trying moves before I had my core muscles back in gear. I have to remind myself as well as you that , “Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should do something.” I’ve modified my exercises so I’m not doing sit-ups which throw out my neck and not doing a lot of twisting kicks which torque my back too much. Modify what you need to as you work around your life changes, too.
Everyone can have a can-do Black Belt Attitude
